Ivan studied Medicine in Prague and was fascinated by biochemistry and the mechanisms of how live organisms function. He became involved in drug research and spent most of his working life in England, Switzerland and Germany developing human medicines for pharmaceutical companies. He is now a strategic medical adviser to several international companies, including SOTIO, an immuno-oncology biotech headquartered in Prague. Ivan likes skiing, forestry, writes short stories and is interested in music in his spare time.
